Umpire Fees
Umpire fees are $12 per team per game. Fees are to be paid before the start of the game. You must have exact amount. Umpires are not required to have change. NO coin allowed.

Closing the Fields at night
The Yard closes and should be cleared out 10 minutes after the last game has ended. Failure to leave by this time is at your own risk.

Foul Ball Rule
starting 07/08/2011
The Foul Ball Rule will be as follows: Once a player has a second strike on them, they will have NONE to waste. MUST BE FAIR

Home Run Rule
starting 01/01/2011
The HomeRun Rule will be as follows: A team can only go up one home run over the other team. If a homerun is hit with that team already up a homerun then a dead ball out is called. If no homeruns have been hit in the game, the home team can still hit a homerun in the bottom of the last inning, whether it is the 7th or last called inning: that way both teams have the same number of opportunities to hit a home run. (See umpire or director for more info if needed)

NO Glass Containers
No Glass Containers are permitted at the Yard at anytime. Anyone with glass containers will be asked to leave the premises whether this is a player or a spectator.

January 1, 2010

ALL league night teams need a $200 cash deposit on the first night to secure a spot in the new seasons. League Fees are $450 plus umpires. The remaining balance must be paid $100 per week until completely paid or teams may be subject to being replaced by teams on the waiting list. Cash only will be accepted

Player Eligibility
No player may play on more than one team during playoffs on the same night regardless if playoffs take more than one week to complete..

Pitching Box Rule
Pitching Box is for protecting the pitcher only, not for assisting the defense. Any ball that is hit through the pitchers box with the pitcher in the box will be result in a dead ball and the batter being called out. If the pitcher vacates the box to avoid getting hit then it will still be a dead ball and an out. Exceptions: (A) If a pitcher vacates the box to play the ball the pitching box rule is no longer in effect. (B) If the ball is hit higher than the pitchers arm extending up then play on, this includes if the ball bounces in front of the box and then goes over the pitchers normal reach.
